What does the written exam consist of and how can I prepare?
The written exam covers four areas: mathematics, grammar, reading comprehension and report writing. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of police work or police experience to take the test. Honing your skills in basic math, spelling, grammar and reading comprehension in any way you prefer should be sufficient to prepare you for the exam. You need to score a minimum of 70% in all four areas of the exam. The written exam takes approximately 3 hours.
