What is the Transfer Center and where is it?
The Transfer Center is a privately owned facility where solid waste is transferred from the regular collection trucks and combined into large semi-trailer trucks which helps to reduce the cost of transportation to landfills for disposal. You can also use the Transfer Center to drop off your large or bulky items for a fee. The Transfer Center is located at 5300 Recycle Trail, off Air Depot just north of Covell Road.
