Ongoing projects

  • Main Street (Railroad tracks to N. Santa Fe Street): Main Street west of Broadway at the railroad tracks to N. Santa Fe Street is now open. Periodic lane reductions will still occur in this area until construction on the Oxlley multi-family project, as well as on-street public parking and streetscape is complete.
  • Main Street (west of Littler Ave. to half a block west of the four-way stop): Beginning Jan. 17, the start of construction work on the City Center Complex site will require the full closure of Main Street west of Littler Avenue from the intersection to half a block west of the four-way stop. Except for a few large-scale special events that occur on weekends, this section will remain closed until construction is completed in March 2025.
  • Littler Avenue (Between First Street and Main Street): Littler Avenue, between First and Main Streets, remains closed and will remain closed throughout the construction process. Several parking areas near the construction site are closed, including the public parking area located on the northeast corner of Littler Avenue and 1st Street and a portion of the public parking lot on the northwest corner of Littler and Main. These areas will remain closed until construction is completed in March 2025.
  • Littler Avenue closures (between 6th and 8th streets): Sections of Littler Avenue, between 6th and 8th streets, will be closed to traffic while work to replace the concrete paving and sidewalks is completed. Short sections of the impacted streets will be closed while work is completed. Each section closure is expected to last approximately 10 days, with cooperative weather. Streets and the adjacent drives will have the concrete paving removed and replaced. Street section work will begin on Littler at 8th and move north to just north of 7th. Sidewalk replacement work will run along the east side of Littler and run from 6th to 8th. Residents in the area will not have street access in the closed sections and will be required to park outside of the closed area. There will be no through-traffic access in the closed sections.
