PROJECT UPDATE (3/7): Work to repave Covell Road between Coltrane Road and Bryant Avenue has been delayed until March 15. The project timeline still is approximately 3 weeks, with cooperative weather.

Covell Road between Coltrane Road and Bryant Avenue will be reduced to one lane while work to repave that stretch of roadway is completed.

Work will be completed one lane at a time. There will be a single lane open at all times, but traffic flow will be controlled by a flagger or pilot vehicle. The eastbound lane will be closed first, and when work on that lane is finished the closure will shift to the westbound lane. Access into the neighborhoods along the project route will still be possible, but motorists are asked to be aware of the work and adjust their routes and travel schedule accordingly.

The project is expected to take 3 weeks, with cooperative weather.

The work is part of the $1.85 million FY 21-22 street overlay project.
