Effective on January 1, 2018, “Tree resource evaluations and preservation plans shall be prepared by a licensed Landscape Architect, a professional Forester registered with the State of Oklahoma, an [International Society of Arboriculture] ISA Certified arborist, or other as pre-approved by the Urban Forestry Commission.” Individuals who would like to be placed on the list of approved professionals must submit the Tree Resource Evaluation/Tree Preservation Plan Professional Application and supporting materials to include two work samples (as described on the
application form).
This approval process is for individuals, rather than businesses. If there are multiple designers at a business who are interested in becoming approved, they must apply individually.
