Urban Forestry is offering an opportunity to win a tree, just in time for planting season! Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year here in Edmond, and it's a season when the trees really get to shine! Take a look around as the vibrant fall foliage starts to show, and snap some pictures to enter in the Edmond Tree Awards program's Fall Foliage Photo Contest. See below for more information about the contest rules.

Who may enter?

Anyone may participate in the contest, but winners must reside within Edmond City Limits. If you are not sure whether you live in Edmond (the boundaries can be deceiving), check out this helpful tool.

How do I submit my entry?

Entries for the 2021 contest have closed.

What tree pictures can I submit?

Photos must be of recent, local fall foliage (outside of Edmond City Limits is okay, but please keep to the Metro area), and entries must include the location of the tree so that the winner may be verified by Urban Forestry staff. Only photos that were taken by the person submitting them as entries will be accepted, with a maximum of three entries. 

How does the contest work?

Once the entry deadline passes, photos will be uploaded into an album on Urban Forestry's Facebook page. Facebook users may vote on their favorites by giving them a "like" in the photo album. Contest participants can encourage their friends to also vote on (like) their photo - just make sure they are "liking" the one in Urban Forestry's album so it will count as a vote! After voting ends, the participant with the most "likes" will win a tree!
